College of Marin welcomes all active duty, veterans/service members, reserve and dependents, regardless of VA eligibility. We recognize the significant value that student veterans bring to our campus and we are committed to ensuring that you receive the best possible educational experience.

To begin the registration process, you must first initiate a claim with the Department of Veterans Affairs, visit the VA web site.  In order to get certified for VA education benefits, veterans service members and/or dependents attending the College of Marin must also complete a COM Veterans Packet, available in the Enrollment Services Office

Priority Registration for Veterans

In recognition of the men and women that serve our nation, SB 272 grants priority registration to veterans/servicemembers attending public colleges and universities. This gives veterans the opportunity to register for classes before all other students.

Priority Parking for Veterans

A "Red" Priority Parking Placard is given to Active Duty and Veteran students with a copy of your DD-214 and with an “Honorable or General” discharge. Veterans parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additionally, current, COM parking pass fees must be paid.
