The CalWORKs program at the College of Marin works in partnership with the County of Marin Department of Health & Human Services to support students who are receiving CalWORKs (cash aid)/TANF, by providing the educational and support services that supports their success and entry, or re-entry into the workforce.
Eligibility
To receive services, students must:
- Be a cash aid/ CalWORKs recipient
- Meet with a County Employment Development Counselor for the intake process
- Be enrolled or in the process of enrolling in classes at College of Marin
- Complete the College of Marin CalWORKs orientation

How to Apply CalWORKs
Step 1:
Tell your County eligibility worker that you want to attend College of Marin
Step 2:
Submit an application for admission to College of Marin
Step 3:
Complete the FAFSA and/or Califorinia Promise Grant application to receive Financial Aid
Step 4:
Meet with a County Employment Development Counselor to complete a Welfare-to-Work Plan

Attend a mandatory College of Marin CalWORKs orientation
