Student Veteran Leadership Conference

This is the first annual conference designed to inspire and educate student veterans, staff, and faculty who support them. The conference is Saturday-Sunday, October 8-9, 2016. College of San Mateo’s Veteran Services Program and SVA Chapter have teamed up to host this amazing and unique event. This conference is a great opportunity for student veterans and their supporting staff to come together under one roof. Attendees will be able to learn more about how they can work together to enhance student veteran engagement and promote academic success for current and future student veterans.

Student veterans can expect to learn how to build and maintain SVA chapters and supporting staff will learn how enhance their current policies to better service their student veteran population.
