Read&Write is literary software designed to help people read, write, and express themselves more confidently. Read&Write can support and streamline how you use and access information. Some of the notable features include the ability to allow the user to hear emails or have documents read out loud. Want an easy way to annotate and collect highlights to make a study guide? Read&Write makes this process simple and easy. While most everyone can benefit from using the software to reach their own goals at College of Marin, the literary features provide a straightforward way to support individuals with learning difficulties as well as empowering English language learning throughout our community. Most importantly, this software is available for FREE to all COM students, faculty, and staff!
To install this software, please follow the steps below:
- Download a free 30 day trial version appropriate for your operating system. Select the United States (US) version of the product, which may take awhile to download due to size of the installer.
- Once the software is installed on your device, Sign In using the Microsoft Office login option.
- After you enter your Marin email address (i.e. username@marin.edu or username@mycom.marin.edu), you will be redirected to the MyCOM login page where you can login with your MyCOM username and password.
Read&Write software cannot be installed on district PCs/Macs on campus due to software policy restrictions. This software offering is intended for use on your personal devices.
