How to Apply EOPS/CARE
Step 1:
Submit an application for admission to College of Marin
Step 2:
Make sure you have completed the FAFSA, California Dream Act and/or BOG fee waiver form to receive Financial Aid.
Step 3:
Complete math and English placement testing at the Assessment and Testing Center.
Step 4:
Fill out an EOPS eligibility gold card (available at the EOPS Office). If you are eligible for the program, we will contact you to attend an EOPS orientation.
Step 5:
Attend an EOPS mandatory orientation and submit a New EOPS Student Application, EOPS Student Responsibility Contract, Student Education Plan (SEP), and the EOPS Study Skills Assessment.
How to Apply CalWORKs
Step 1:
Get a referral from your County of Marin CalWORKs worker to attend College of Marin
Step 2:
Submit an application for admission to College of Marin
Step 3:
Make sure you have completed the FAFSA, California Dream Act and/or BOG fee waiver form to receive Financial Aid.
Step 4:
Complete math and English placement testing at the Assessment and Testing Center., if required.
Step 5:
Meet with Chanel Brock to do an intake for the College of Marin CalWORKs program
Step 6:
Bring your paperwork from Chanel to the COM CalWORKs office and complete the new CalWORKs student application.
Step 7:
Attend a College of Marin CalWORKs mandatory orientation.
